You miss the sounds of zany, fun, laugh inducing pop perfection that early albums by They Might Be Giants, Ween and LMNOP used to pump out - mix in some XTC for good measure? Well, The Craftmatic Adjustables deliver! Hey, it can even be profane and hysterical! I probably should not point out the questionable lyrical content of "Bathtub Boat Race"(soundbite #4 below) so let`s just leave at this: If you don`t have a sense of humour, move on. If you do, forward, young stallion! Smile Or Scowl - I choose the former with great glee as "Girl Talk" is filled with all kinds of insidiously snappy hooks and barrels of fun. These guys are students of pop and turn it on its head for a good time. Bless `em, one and all. Thanks to Not Lamer and comic book expert(and retailer), Joe Field for turning me onto this one! Very Highly Recommended especially if you are a fan of the aforementioned bands!
