Bring it on. Real American rock. 2010-style. The kind that goes on tour and brings along a full deck of band Ipods featuring plenty of acts from the 70s but the touchstones for the band`s sound are completely modern. They sound like a more piledriving, straight shooting version of Kings Of Leon and, at times, sound a whole lot like that band(for me, I can roll w/ that just fine). They work in cleaner, sharper, brighther hooks than KOL, going for the juggular of anthemic high and mightyness. "With 11 songs chock-full of powerful, southern rock influenced, guitars and piercing vocals, it`s the perfect CD to blast on the car stereo. I only wish it had been released a month earlier, so I could still have some summer left to drive with the windows down, music up, to nowhere special...It`s hard to pick a favorite or a stand out song, because the list would be as long as the track listing. You`ll want to listen on repeat --and you`ll likely be torn on whether to replay the song immediately or wait until the end of the album.
But don`t fret! With the mixture of old-fashioned rock, a modern touch, and a subtle hint of southern blues, whatever track you land on will be first-rate. It`s truly an incredible album through and through-- even more impressive when you realize it`s only their debut." - Pop Culture Madness.
