707 - The First Album And Beyond

707 are one of the best of the late 70s/early 80s AOR bands that were popping up all over the place during this time. Their first album, here in its entirety along with 6 extra trax is a bonafide classic in the genre, such is the perfection of the genre`s craft here. " 4 stars. The best of 707`s albums, their self-titled debut wasn`t much different from its album rock comrades of 1980, except 707 had a nice guitar pop touch to their sound, as in their moderate hit and album opener "I Could Be Good for You." The rest of the album maintains the first track`s momentum for the most part, and is ultimately quite enjoyable."AMG. If you want to understand the AOR genre of this time period, THIS is one of the gems to discover first!
