Yes!!! Our kind of band! 8 songs on this jaw-dropping mini-CD influenced by one of our all-time fave bands, Sparks. We repeat, "YES!" But the Sparks comparison speak volumes to anyone remotely familiar with the smooth sounds of these late `70s-early `80s pop rockers. While Hard Place`s lightish sound is easy on the ears, is it really commercially viable in a market thriving on a diet of squelching teen angst and studio-engineered pop pinups? Hell no, who cares, whatever, turn it up! Hard Place`s music could be described, also, as a mix between Devo and Queen however they have crafted a sound that is completely their own. Extremely Highly Recommended.
