on speed and some Rocket From The Crypt. It`s effortless, bubblegum punk!
The Hatepinks simply churn out a succession of one minute, 20 second songs, one after another, on and on until the 13 songs are finished and the new-found fan of the band is perfectly satisfied. It`s a full CD but clocks in at just under 17 minutes. And it`s perfect. Perfect. It`s not only exhausting, but exhilerating. The Hatepinks distill the most potent influences of 70`s punk rock n` roll to create an album that sounds like a lost classic from 25 years ago! "Some listeners will balk at Plastic Bag Ambitions` brevity, but there`s a charm to The Hatepinks` brash snottiness that`s difficult to find these days. The Hatepinks are the masters of the catchy riffs/shallow-but-memorable lyrics formula, and they have a definite talent for finding the common ground between garage rock and `77 death punk. You should probably still hate the French, but The Hatepinks make a small conciliatory gesture with this concise piece of musical genius. Baisez les Franais!"-Splendidzine.
