Zero Stars really put together on this six song, 21 minute mini-CD as they
mine some class Brit-pop sounds, but not the ones normally embraced by
American bands. You`ll find lots of snappy The Pastels, Aztec Camera, The
Smiths, The Housemartins, Trash Can Sinatras styled UK pop and, they bring
the quality songs with them. There`s no mere shallow mimicking or lame
posturing, they are excited and inspired by their influences and determined
to do them, and themselves, proud. he songs are hooky and simple, based on
classic indie pop chord changes and lovingly spiced with all sorts of sonic
candy like echoing guitar lines, hushed vocals and sweet, tasteful
arrangements. Very Highly Recommended!
