BACK IN STOCK!! 2001 release and great follow up to the excellent "When Pigs Fly"(out of print, sadly)! The new project for this band`s leader is The Montgomerys---make sure you check out their excellent 2004 release! Anyway, the songs here: "Make Some Noise" is a blast of humour and good guitar driven pop and fans of the other work will find this material inventive, filled with cool twists and turns while maintaining a sound that is similar to Andy Partridge and Adrian Belew`s pop work(he`s worked with them in the past, so there might be that influence still in there working away). "Their style can be best described as a cross of Game Theory and early Split Enz, though that does not do it justice....an excellent disc"Amplifier. "the band`ssmart, funny lyrics and infectious melodic hooks are a breath of fresh airin a world where the words "pop hook" are frequently applied sound deservingly, as to render them almost meaningless."-AMG.
