Well, Jellyfish fans - I just overlooked this one from last year - How did I do that?! Like a mini-supergroup - Malibu is a project from Roger Joseph Manning, Jr. which features help from Jason Falkner, Chris & Tim Manning, Brian Reitzell and the sound? Well, certainly not for everyone but imagine Jellyfish(duh!) deciding to do make an album devoted as a t ribute to Kraftwerk and Giorgio Moroder. Yes, THAT is what this sounds like. MalibuÂ`s "Robo-Sapiens," a synth-filled journey through RogerÂ`s many inspirations; from Giorgio Moroder to Kraftwerk, Herbie Hancock, Gary Numan and Thomas Dolby. As much a dancefloor rocker as a headphone trip, Robo-Sapiens shows off RogerÂ`s coveted synthesizer collection in all its glory and his masterful touch at bringing new influences to pop music. WOW!
