So really, they should suck. BUT check out the vocals on Track #1 below. These guys have talent. They`re not scared to embrace the poppy side of their musical personality with melodies and vocals better suited to The Beach Boys, Ben Folds and Queen - lots of Queen. But they are, get this - an emo band on much of this album. Strange, right? "4 1/2 stars. Let me start by saying that this album is one of the best, if not THE best, discs i`ve heard in the past year or two. I acquired an advanced copy of this disc, and uploaded it on my ipod, thinking i`d listen to it on a train ride and like a few of the songs. What i quickly discovered was that this disc is in face a masterpiece. I don`t know if the band considers this to be a concept album, but regardless, every track is worth listening to. The harmonies, arrangements, and different styles experimented with throughout the spread of the CD are absolutely awe-inspiring. To start a disc with Queen caliber/style harmonies and then drop into a rock fused, hook filled song works far better than i ever imagined it to be. I`m going to stop rambling about this album, because i think i might never stop. Highlights for me include "Beside You", "Masterpiece Theater III" and "Good To You", along with every other track on this fantastic album." - Melodic.net
