Japan only reissue of late 1977 second album from Buster, who were, ahem, “Big In Japan” – and whose self-titled debut, Buster, made it to #197 on John M. Borack’s “200 Greatest Power Pop Albums Of All Time” list in the Shake Some Action: The Ultimate Guide To Power Pop Book! Some of the band members look like they are 15 and there is no doubt, some cigar chomping, stumpy, balding music exec saw big ‘ole dollars in these boys in the wake of Bay City Rollers. And, frankly, this album is a solid step down from the debut mirroring the wimp-factor detour The Rollers took around this time, as well(circa “It’s A Game” era for them). It’s a bonadfide curiou and interesting addition to the serious power pop/bubblegum collector, no doubt and the 4 bonus trax included here are the strongest cuts in the bunch as they kick up the jams(well, kinda sorta) a few notches. I burned them onto my Ipod! ENJOY!
