All the material here evokes - without being overt or patronizing - the sounds of many faves to us all: Parthenon Huxley, Doug Powell, Rick Altizer, Toy Matinee, Peter Gabriel(listen song #4 below), New Radicals and even, for some odd reason, reminds of Rick Derringer`s "Guitars & Women" early 80s solo album. It`s a special brand of commercial rock, commercial power pop, commercial AAA, adult rock that glides along effortlessly inside leader Howard Herrick`s many, many talents on display here.
