A massive, exciting find from Canada (thanks to Not Lamer Eric Sorenson for making sure we found this one!). Jangle-fans will love this. Exquisite power-pop folk rock, echoes of Emitt Rhodes, The Beatles, The Byrds, The Monkees, David Grahame, Buffalo Springfield, The Beach Boys, The Kinks, Big Star , Badfinger and others haunt this disk. There`s sweet, lush 12 stringed jange, bits of dreamy psycheldia and a archetypal pop hook structure all over the place! The influences peek out from the corner, creep through closed doors and dart `n dash out of focus, which makes it all the more delightful, pleasurable. Neil Traynor is a modern Todd Rundgren, playing and singing all the parts himself. "Mix a high voice that sounds eerily similar to Ken Sharp`s voice and tons of great chiming Rickenbacker 12-string riffs, and you`ve got a 2003 release that is overdue for pop enthusiasts` attention! Every track features the kind of jangly guitars we`ve come to expect from Jeremy, Herb Eimerman and Ken Sharp. My favorite songs are "Sarah," "I Want To Tell The Whole World" and "I Love Only You.""-Fufkin.com. Big Time Extremely Highly Recommended!
