Readymade Breakup - Isn`t That What It`s For? | The Blakes. Many of you remember that band, sadly long defunct, but now lead
singer Paul Rosebear is back with a project that fans of The Blakes will
passionately embrace as this might be the best Tories-inspired record since
that bands` last release! Rosebear has that earthy, warm croon that makes
females swoon and pop fans rejoice knowing that they will be hearing a
display of excellent vocal performance inside great songsmithery, which makes good sense as two of the members of this band were in The Blakes. Fans of
The Elms, Adam Schmitt, Tim Cullen, Rooney, Scarlet Crush and Digby will
find familiar, happy territory all over "Isn`t That What It`s For?", rest
assured. If sweet, intensely rich vocals, hard driving guitar hooks, a
amplified guitar sound and whalloped back choruses are your bag, open
Readymade Breakup, right now! Crafting silky-smooth, melodic crooning
melodies is what this band is all about, so go with the flow and smile away.
Simply, not to be missed! rystal clear production, crackling passion,
unrelenting, rewarding and breathtaking choruses, great ballads `n rockers
standing bside each other - it`s the full pop package. You got it,
Extremely Highly Recommended!

| Readymade Breaks IT UP!!! | |
| Reviewer: Rita Kopca | | If I lived on the East Coast, I would be seeing these guys every chance I had, but unfortunately, all I have is their music.
If you like fun music with understandable words, "isn't that what it's for?" is right up your alley. There's a lot of mixtures of soft, caring music to loud, boisterous guitar playing that I just loved. One song in particular, "invincible," starts out so nice and sweet and all of sudden you're taken to a place that makes you feel INVINCIBLE!!!! A lot of heart in some of these songs too—especially "without you," "funeral" and "say yes". Buy it and see for yourself. These guys ROCK!!!! |

| A Must-Have CD! | |
| Reviewer: Lou Massara | | I've been impatiently waiting for this CD for months - but it was worth the wait!! Readymade Breakup write songs that make me smile, even when I'm feeling down. The tunes are fun and catchy (but not in a cheesy way!) and the lyrics are about things that you can relate to, which is always good. There are SO MANY good songs on this disc.... and certainly no bad ones! It's been the most-played thing on my mp3 player for the past week or two since I got it - I think I'm addicted, especially to tunes like "Without You" and "Ships in the Night" - amazing! If you like fun, heatfelt, sweet yet rocking music... you'll LOVE this. BUY IT!! |

| Thank you Mr Postman! | |
| Reviewer: Shelley Thompson | | Today, something happened which made me very very happy. More than just happy. Ecstatic! What happened?? I hear you ask... My Readymade Breakup CD arrived! Contained on this one cd are 12 songs of utter brilliance. Especially 'Without You' and 'Note To Self'. But really, there isnt a song on here I dislike. I think you'd be hard pressed to find an album with so many great songs. A garanteed-to-make-me-smile cd.
I'm listening to it right now. You could be doing the same... |
