Think early Rundgren, Cheap Trick, Fountains Of Wayne done with the interminable panache that only this assemblage of talent could pull off. "The fingerprints of Ronnie Lane, Brian Wilson, Paul McCartney and The Zombies are all over this thing, but it never stoops to kitsch. Finally, someone put the `super` back into `super-group`"-CMJ.
