2007 begins with an album that going to shoot right to the top of the class
and fight to stay there. This album is, simply, great, great, great! They
pull off a lot of influences that all mix up in big rockin' bowl of tasty
pop sounds: Superdrag, Fountains Of Wayne (check out "Cherry Is A Girl"),
The Godfathers(listen to "Alright" below), Sloan, The Model Rockets and The
Minus 5. Plenty of aggressive, jangly strums, well-layered and soothingly
soft harmonies, dramatic, vibrant songs. "³Smart arrangements laced with
bouncing drums, strumming guitars, and raspy vocals tinged with late night
desperation and early-morning reflection.² - Fufkin. ³A wholesome
catchiness to it that never feels forced or trite. All of the tracks have a
definite Signal Hill flavor to them. The overall feel is definitely
indie-pop, but indie-pop with texture and sturdy craftsmanship. Even the
simplest songs on the album have an interesting feel to them, by way of the
chord choices and certain candor in the vocalsŠSuper catchy.² - Erasing

this L.A. band finds more potent use for their electric guitars than
