Fredrick`s ambition not only to make his distorto-jangle-dreampop version of The White Album (his as well as producer/The Black Watch bassist Scott Taylor`s favorite Beatles record), but also to meld both Kevin Shields and Nick Drake-like sensibilities throughout the recordings, is realized in a record that, for those who have followed The Black Watch`s nearly two-decade-long career, as well as for the uninitiated, will surely surprise and delight. Their truly unique blendings of moody, melody drenched hooks colored divinely with violin and cello stringed strummings that breathtakingly beautiful and leaving fingerprints of music1s ability to capture feelings of the soul.
