Like Cheap Trick doing The Clash. Talk about kicking out the jangle jams! You`ll need to take some aspirin after tuning to this one after all the head-bobbing you`ll do. Sugar pop with hooks that bite, bubbly melodies that soar and guitar links that rip with old school late 70`s passion along the lines of the first album from The Romantics, The Plimsouls, The Beat. It`s not that The Safes sounds like this trio of bands, it`s that they have that spunk, energy and excitement the early efforts of those bands had.
