Third Of Never - Moodring

Outstanding! Produced by Kurt Reil(of The Gripweeds) along with Jon Dawson, Reil`s drumming and other talents are all over Third Of Never`s "Moodring" including familiar sounds of The Gripweeds, but the day`s vision is carried by Dawson who displays confidence at every turn in this pure pop gem. At many moments, the vocals remind me of classic early 90`s Posies not only in their execution but in their homage to such acts as The Hollies, The Who and The Smithereens. Please listen to the extensive soundbites below to hear these angelic sounds and heavenly is what they are! There`s wave after wave of smooth, powerful ringing guitars, wondrously stacked vocal harmonies and memorable vocal takes and hooks that come from all directions making this a classic Not Lame-styled release. Translation: it`s the whole, complete all-encompassing package. Bonuses: Bsides Kurt Reil, Not Lame fave , CJ Grogan, is also in the band and it features John "Rabbit" Bundrick of The Who, Dennis Diken of The Smithereens. A fresh breath of pure pop breeze that awakens all over "Moodring" and shows that life is always beautiful...this one Extremely Highly Recommended to the max!!
