Really good commercial emo-power pop for the youth-set by this Florida band, who fall into the vein of Jimmy Eat World but these boys pull off some mighty, mighty fine melodies and hooky vocal arrangements inside all the emo-pretense. You could almost call them a real `power pop` band in some spots on "Smile Kid". Listen to the songs below for fairly accurate examples of this proclamation. Sure, nothing original here but of all the early 20-something bands making this kind of `rock`, We The Kings hit me better than 98% of what is out there and are a guilty pleasure.
