Walty - Haight Street Bus Ride | WOW! Sounding like a lost great Swedish pop band from the 90`s(think early Merrymakers, Beagle, The Grass Show) combined with the more modern sounds of Phantom Planet and Rooney after listening to lots of Crowded House and Split Enz, Walty deliver some long lasting, sweet and smooth power pop for all ages. it is raft w/ beatle inspiration that parades out a killer melodies and when we say fans of Swedish Pop, don`t miss this, we really, really mean it! Driving guitars, cherubic vocals, and, of course, big `ole hooks.... iabolically clever and relentingly catchy. Very Highly Recommended!

| Reviewer: Doug Laney | | California is an anthem for those of us from the IL who tried CA. Taxi Girl is just about as catchy as catch can. (Even my 5yo can't stop singing it. Sorry, that's not a good plug unless you appreciate his excellent taste in music from Beatles to Tchaikovsky to the Killers.) If you listen, Walty really speaks to you. And f not for file swapping, Walty & my ears would have remained strangers for eternity. Now he's got my green in his pocket.
Dude...when's the gig back home in Chitown? |
