It�s been 3 years since their debut lit up sales here at Not Lame and excellent followup �What�s Wrong With You� has arrived. Fans of The Churchills, IKE, Del Amitri, The Tories/James Guffee and The Posies pay attention. Once again, produced by The Churchills, The Crayons deliver a 12 song collection of pop hooks, sunny, bright, knee-throbbing harmonies and multi-layered guitars rising above all the pop sheen and glory, The Crayons should be a band not ignored by fans of indie power pop world wide - so don`t pass this one by without a struggle. This is sweet, grown-up power pop captured in beautiful melodic arrangements with well-placed string and horn accents - a wonderful melange of excelellent pop credentials brought together with the utmost of craftsmanship. Gently (good) commercially strummed jangle and fans of the aforementioned bands at their strongest will find very familiar territory all over the place here(but this is much more rocking and upbeat than DA, I must add). EXTREMELY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
