While Hard Place`s lightish sound is easy on the ears, is it really commercially viable in a market thriving on a diet of squelching teen angst and studio-engineered pop pinups? Hell no, who cares, whatever, turn it up! Hard Place`s music could be described, also, as a mix between Devo and Queen however they have crafted a sound that is completely their own.
