BRADY HARRIS - Cover Charge

Not often I dig albums like this. I went into LouisÂ office here at the Not Lame World Corporate Headquarters and played him this amazing version of MotorheadÂs "Ace Of Spades" which SLAYS. Listen below - I wonÂt tell you which song number it is so you can trip across h is version of "I Want You To Want Me"(Cheap Trick, but of course!), which works in a bit of "Surrender" into things. ItÂs a full album of covers done unlike any youÂve heard - usually spare parts added - layers of acoustic guitars, piano, atmospherics `n such. Most of the songs here just WORK, only a few fall short but even those are pretty darn cool. Other songs? The Clash "Spanish Bombs", The Vines "Highly Evolved", The Killers "Smile Like You" and many others.
