Ther`s almost Stonesy root element to this updated sounds here. While it`s all burning up a feverish state, the sugary hooks and slashing slendery tight melodies cut like a Ginzu knife. Youthful and un-self-conscious, this is refreshing, unpretentious, simply played music that is very appealing to power pop fans.
