The Little Murders - We Should Be Home By Now

Plainly, fans of The Go-Betweens need to check this one out! From Australia, The Little Murders were an influential mod-band in the early 80`s but they got back together in 2001 and recorded this fabulous record which sounds like excellently inspired music from The Proclaimers, The Go-Betweens and The Triffids. That`s some mighty company and , yes, the music holds up right along side it! "It may be impossible to dislike the Little Murder`s First Light -pure guitar-pop craft at it`s finest"-Pre-Amp Washington. Each song has an expansive, carefully crafted arrangements which elevate many of these songs to the level of high emotional drama; haunting keyboards, gorgeous vocals, gentle melodies and with full lyrical narrative with magical landscapes. A must for fans of 80`s indie Australian pop but this is just great music for many.
