Reminds us of Rooney, Superdrag, The Elms, Copperpot, Jim Boggia`s latest "Safe In Sound" and Not Lame`s True Love. "Songs From The Unknown" is a striking parade of heart-warming, mouth-salivating pop songs with more hooks than a ship full of pirates. Insistent hooks, clever choruses and really great sounding rhythm guitars. Always an interesting twist at every turn on all the material here -- High impact, dead center, fastball melodies and clean, catchy guitar sounds w/ just the slightest edge to make it completely modern and fresh. "Orange Park is destined to bring power-pop back in the spotlight of the music world. By power pop, I don`t mean the catchy but slightly obnoxious stuff in the vein of Weezer`s latest productions, but the musical delicacies of bands like Superdrag that relish in softer vocal harmonies and simple, but unusual, chord progressions or licks to drive the song along.. Often, when I hear new bands I like I`ll place them into one of two categories. The first is for bands that, in a just world, would become famous and well-liked because of their amazing talent but realistically won`t. The second is for bands that, in the real world, will become famous and well-liked because they have a sound that mainstream music is ready and waiting for. Orange Park fits into both groups. Their catchy, upbeat didys that are successful both fast and slow and small and big are exactly what will surely bring them into the limelight in the next year or so. I can already hear them on the radio."-ClearlyCopacetic. " Their guitar is fast, unforgettable pop melodies and dry chorus are very impressive."-Crossbeat. "Fresh Squeezed Melody. Their pure attitude is has so much brightness, they are newcomer from NYC. Sweet chorus with swelling harmony is purely melody with 100% natural juice."-Japan, In Rock. Extremely Highly Recommended!<p>
