This is rock `n roll - old school style! Spunk, verve and a bit of spit to mess up any polish that may come from being in the studio too long. What makes this material shine is the energy that swallows up the well written songs and singer Nick MillwardÂs early Elvis Costello snarl. So I guess you could call it slightly twangy roots driven power pop with a hint of Elvis Costello`s "Get Happy" era blue eyed Motown fixation or Will Hoge and The Replacements bar-room rock with some Blue Rodeo and Terry Anderson/NRBQ wildness thrown in.
