Sad Cafe - Anthologyhttp://www.notlame.com/CDSADC1.htmlSad Cafe - AnthologySad Cafe - Anthology16 track best of compilation from UK FM/AOR pop band who mixed up soft rock, blues pop and pure, unfiltered late 70`s styled AOR that appealed to fans of Pablo Cruise(who were not as terrible as many maintain, I declare---but not to my grave, nor too loudly), Leo Sayer and (gulp!) Player. Why are they here? Good question. Well, there are a lot of older Not Lamers who, like me, have a closeted weakness for this kind of music in the right mood because bands like Sad Cafe had magnificent vocals, occasionally `hit the repeat button` hooks and just plain really good songs. Examples on this one include: Hungry Eyes, La Di Da, Strange LIttle Girl and Nothing Left To Lose really hit a mark. Not for everyone, most certainly, but if you are so inclined to `out yourself`, we promise not to tell anyone, okay?
 Listen - mp3
http://www.notlame.com/Browse_by_Artist/S/Sad_Cafe/Page_1/CDSADC1.html
