Still, there`s a bit more crunch to the proceedings here than most of those bands, lots `o jangle and open chords rippingly strummed and, of course, the requisite array of memorable hooks that make pop fans drool. Some of these songs, notably "Hello Hello" have a later-day Spongetones feel to them. Power pop with a rock edge. Cool guitars, two lead vocalists with range from a whisper to a scream. Harmonies, big drums and intelligent, well written songs. Modern and classic all at once. There are crunchy guitars, 12 string guitars and wonderful vocal harmonies. There are garage rock songs, psychedelic songs, ballads, songs too cool to label, power pop songs, jazzy chords, even a boot-scootin, two-steppin hillbilly raver. Throughout, theres a loose, humorous, damn-the-mistakes rock and roll attitude. Uppity studio cats these
guys aint, thankfully. "The Shamus Twins` CD is brilliant, full of
surprises...a nonstop roller coaster ride through Rock and Pop land, loud and intelligent...start to finish, the songs are imaginative, memorable and rockin`...more hooks than Sheriff Taylor`s tackle box." - All Access Magazine."ong on the next installment of the "Nuggets" anthology...""-LA Rock City News. Extremely Highly
Recommended.

"Tight musicianship, irresistible hooks & magical rock-pop vibes threaten to overwhelm the unsuspecting listener on this sleeper of an album. This power trio delivers the full gamut of 70s rock styles - from the powerpop of the Raspberries & Badfinger to the post-punk of The Police, Talking Heads & Gang of Four." Fufkin
