A wonderful concoction of power pop, raw indie rock that rawks, and maybe a dash of punk for good measure. A sweet abrasive, kick-ass spirit in the vein of a more power pop-driven Mando Diao, Jet and Spoon. Think The Figgs waking up on the wrong side of the bed and taking a happy pill right away. Yeah! Unlike many power pop/punk groups, they do guitar solos, but they`re such good, musical solos they`re not annoying or showy. And unlike a lot of groups, it`s obvious that while they take their music seriously, they don`t take themselves too seriously. This is a big rocking, yet wildly melodic, high-charged tune-fest. Sharp guitar tones and a refreshingly different, edgy approach to the genre that Not Lame is so obsessed with! A scorching, yet sweet assault to their brand of pop. Very Highly Recommended if you like your pop with a strong dose of power pop rock!
