DWIGHT TWILLEY - Rarities - Volume 6

Dwight Twilley is perhaps one of the most underrated songwriters and recording artists of the Rock era. His fabled slapback echo power pop sound won fans the world over. Volume 6 digs even deeper into the Twilley archives to uncover 14 more interesting and lost gems!

Songs like the rocking "She`s All My Light", the carefree "It`s True", and the charming and innocent "Let It Rain" are among the many highlights. Also featured here is an early version of "Ice Captain", a song Dwight later resurrected for his "47 Moons" release from 2004. An early version of the rocking "Firefly" (which appeared on "Rarities Volume 2") appears here as "Love Me". "Daydream Lady" is one of the earliest tracks Dwight ever recorded and shows his blossoming prowess as a gifted songwriter. An early demo of the Lennon-esque Twilley masterpiece "Out Of My Hands" is present as is a Creedence Clearwater Revival-sounding arrangement of "Just Like You Did It Before". Dwight even takes a fun stab at the rockabilly classic "Pointed Toe Shoes"!
