This San Francisco power pop band who sound like Shoes on speed. Really! Their previous CDs (Pop'n'Serve and Bloom, still available) are wonderful, but the ever hopeful, artistic step forward shines here. Full of Who-ish energy (but not sound), and shades of Shoes, Redd Kross and Husker Du without all the loutish distortion and punk 'tude and lots of Monkees vibe in the vocals and gliding song
